Sentai Filmworks Charts Course to “Bermuda Triangle ~Colorful Pastorale~”

HOUSTON, TX, December 18, 2018 – Sentai Filmworks announced today that it acquired exclusive rights to the animated series, Bermuda Triangle ～Colorful Pastorale～, for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. The series is a spinoff based on the Bermuda Triangle clan from BUSHIROAD’s popular Cardfight!! Vanguard trading card game.

Mermaids are known worldwide as bewitching mythological creatures of the sea. Despite their charms and otherworldly powers, daily life for these beings comes with everyday problems. But there’s nothing that can’t be overcome with the support of friends. Follow the adventures of five young mermaids as they explore their town and the world around them in this delightful slice-of-life series that takes viewers to an enchanting world beneath the waves.

The series is produced by SEVEN・ARCS・PICTURES (Trinity Seven, Mushibugyo) and directed by Junji Nishimura (Bakuon!!, Glasslip). Michiko Yokote (Princess Tutu, Tsurune) is in charge of the series composition. The Japanese voice cast includes Larissa Takeda Tago (My Girlfriend is Shobitch, Yakiniku-ten Sengoku) as Sonata, Amane Shindou as Caro, Moka Hiraguri as Canon, Risa Tsumugi as Fina and Hikaru Tono as Serena.

The series will soon be available for the Winter 2019 simulcast season to stream on select digital outlets with a home video release to follow.
