HOUSTON, TX — September 10, 2020 — Sentai announced today that it acquired home video distribution rights to the universe-expanding Ajin: Demi-Human OADs.

The Ajin: Demi-Human OADs (original animation DVDs), with more than 60 minutes of additional content, delve deeper into the world of this complex series while expanding into the lives of its protagonists and villains alike. Wielding suspense, mystery, violent action and dark humor in turns, the collection includes a pulse-pounding ride through the deadly awakening of Shinya Nakamura  (“Nakamura Shinya Incident”), an irreverent walk through the daily antics of some fan-favorite characters (“Hidden Inn / Secret Den”), and a chilling account of the birth of Ajin: Demi-Human’s most terrifying foe (“Satō:ZERO”).

The OADs are produced by Polygon Pictures (Ajin: Demi-Human (TV series), Knights of Sidonia, BLAME!).  Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia – Movie, Levius, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters) and Hiroaki Ando (“Gambo” from Short Peace, Norageki!, Listeners) direct the Ajin: Demi-Human OADs, which star Mamoru Miyano (Ahiru no Sora, Chihayafuru, Death Note) as Kei Nagai, Yuki Kaji (Black Bullet, Blue Spring Ride, Noragami) as Shinya Nakamura, Hochu Otsuka (Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions, The Severing Crime Edge) as Sato, and Mikako Komatsu (Land of the Lustrous, Akame ga Kill!, Ushio and Tora) as Izumi Shimomura.

Sentai will release a collection of the three Ajin: Demi-Human OADs on home video in Fall 2020.
